 I love vintage bags - it was in fact where this whole vintage adventure started for me. I remember playing dress up in my aunt's bedroom when I was little. She had the most amazing collection of costume jewellery, shoes, dresses and of course handbags. They were always the accessory I was most drawn to and fast forward to the early 2000s, I started selling vintage with a few vintage clutch bags and the rest, as they say, is history.

Buying a vintage handbag is a great way to dip your toes in the water if you are new to the world of vintage. You can team a vintage bag with a modern outfit for a cool and unique look. Like with all vintage, you will find such a superior quality of materials and craftsmanship with a vintage bag too, so it will last you for many years to come. A simple classic clutch bag in black or neutral tones will stay stylish forever, no matter what the trends. By the same token, you can go for more of a statement bag in bright colors or patterns, to wear with a more plain or simple outfit.

There are also some amazing larger vintage bags that can be used for weekends away or overnight stays, and one of my personal favorites are vintage vanity cases. You can use these for makeup and toiletries whether it is to travel or just use as super cute storage in your bedroom or bathroom.
